Reading books is one of our favorite things to do at school.
Santa visited RCPS! The students got to tell him what they wanted for Christmas, if they were on the nice (or naughty!) list and asked questions about Rudolph.

We did a vehicle sort by land, air and sea. The hot air balloon and snow mobile were difficult for the students because some of them had never seen either of these before!
We made predictions as to how many candy hearts we could hold and then tested our predictions!
The Rensselaer Police Department visited our classroom on February 18th! We got to try on their jackets and sit in their police cars!

During 'Dr. Seuss' week, we read Green Eggs and Ham and students got to try green eggs themselves! The pictures speak for themselves.....
After reading The Foot Book by Dr. Seuss, the students got to experience feeling different textures with their own feet!
Some students didn't enjoy the play dough, but I was happy they all tried it once!
